Hardware Monitoring The S845WD1-E server board has an integrated Hardware Management ASIC that is responsible for hardware monitoring. Together, the Hardware Management ASIC and the Intel® LANDesk® Client Manager (LDCM) 6.3 software provide basic server hardware monitoring which alerts a system administrator if a hardware problem occurs on an Intel Server Board S845WD1-E based system. The Intel LDCM software is for use with Windows 2000 Server and Windows 2000 Advanced Server operating systems. Other S845WD1-E operating systems like Red Hat† Linux† won't be monitored with LDCM.
