Display assembly, Peel the antennas

Before removing the WWAN antennas and cables, follow these steps: 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 30). 2. Remove the bottom cover (Bottom cover on page 30). 3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 31). 4. Remove the heat sink and fan assembly (see Heat sink and fan assembly on page 38). 5. Remove the system board (see System board on page 46). 6. Remove the speaker assembly (see Speakers on page 43). Remove the WWAN antennas and cables: 1. Disconnect the antenna cables from the WWAN module (1), and then remove the cables from the clips on the USB board (2). 2. Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the WWAN antenna (3). 3. Peel the antennas off the computer (4) to remove them. Reverse this procedure to install the WWAN antennas and cables.
