Chapter 13 Alternative Rack Mounting (4-Post) The HP Netserver LP 2000r rack mount kit requires two EIA units of space in the rack. Before mounting the Netserver, plan for the Netserver's location in the rack relative to other rack components. Proper placement is vital both for safety and operating efficiency. For more information, see "Rack Configuration Tools" later in this chapter. Tools Required The following tools are required to rack-mount the HP Netserver. • M10 socket Torx 25 driver • Marking pen or masking tape (optional for marking the columns) HP Netserver Rack Mount Parts List Ensure the rack-mounting kit provided with the HP Netserver contains the following parts: Table 13-1.
