Professional Rangetops
• Electrical plug is not plugged into a live power outlet.
• Gas not turned on.
• Burner parts not replaced correctly.
•
Holes in the simmer rings or slits in the burner rings are clogged.
•
Clogged orifice, or wet burners or electrodes.
• Burner parts not replaced correctly.
• If burner flames look like
, call for service. Normal burner flames
should look like

, depending on the type of gas.
• The rangetop may be connected to the wrong fuel type. Contact the
person who installed your rangetop or made the conversion.
• When the knob is at the
position, it must be pushed in before
it can be turned, and it can only be turned in a
direction. When the knob is at any other position, it can be turned
in either direction without being pushed inwards.
