Cleaning the Dishwasher The control panel can be cleaned by using a lightly dampened cloth. Dry thoroughly with a soft towel. Never use sharp objects, scouring pads or harsh cleaners on any part of the dishwasher. Cleaning the Door To clean the edge around the door, you should use only a soft warm damp cloth. To prevent water into the door lock or electrical components, do not use a liquid spray or cleaner of any kind. WARNING: abrasive agents or some paper towels may scratch or leave spots on the stainless steel surface Cleaning the Spray Arms The spray arms can be removed for periodic cleaning of the nozzles to prevent possible clogging. Wash the spray arms under running water and carefully reinstall them making sure that the movement is in no way impeded. Protect Against Freezing Please take frost protection measures on the dishwasher in winter. Each time after washing cycles, please take the following steps: 1. Turn off the dishwasher 2. Turn off the water supply and disconnect the water inlet hose from the back of the unit. 3. Drain the water from the inlet hose and inlet port. (Use a pan to catch the water) 4. Reconnect the water inlet hose to the inlet port. 5. Remove the filter system and use a sponge to absorb the water that is in the sump area. 17
