The griddle should be placed on a flat and level surface. A Never use the griddle in windy areas. The griddle will operate best if it is not facing directly into the wind. A DO NOT touch metal parts of griddle until it has completely cooled (about 45 minutes) to avoid burns, unless you are wearing protective gear (pot holders, gloves, BBQ mittens, etc...). A ALWAYS open griddle lid slowly and carefully as heat and steam trapped within the griddle can burn A DO NOT obstruct the flow of combustion and ventilation air to this appliance. A Keep all electrical cords away from a hot griddle. A DO NOT use griddle for indoor cooking or heating. TOXIC fumes can accumulate and cause asphyxiation. After a period of storage and/or non use, check for leaks, burner obstructions and inspect for any abrasion, wear, cuts to the hose. 3
