6 Maintenance and cleaning Service life of the product extends and frequently faced problems decrease if cleaned at regular intervals. 6.1 Lint Filter / Loading Door Inner Surface Lint and fiber released from the laundry to the air during the drying cycle are collected in the Lint Filter. A WARNING! • Always clean the lint filter and the inner surfaces of the loading door after each drying process. C NOTE • You can clean the lint filter housing with a vacuum cleaner. To clean the lint filter: • Open the loading door. • Remove the lint filter by pulling it up and open the lint filter. • Clean lint, fiber, and cotton raveling by hand or with a soft piece of cloth. • Close the lint filter and place it back into its housing. A layer can build up on the filter pores that can cause clogging of the filter after using the dryer for a while. Wash the lint filter with warm water to remove the layer that builds up on the lint filter surface. Dry the lint filter completely before reinstalling it. • Clean the entire inner surface of the loading door and loading door gasket with a soft damp cloth. 6.2 Cleaning the sensors • There are temperature sensor in the dryer that detect whether the laundry is dry or not. To clean the sensors: • Open the loading door of the dryer. • Remove the lint filter by pulling it up. • Clean the sensor with your hand if any fluff accumulation on it. C NOTE • Clean the sensor 4 times a year. • Do not use metal tools when cleaning the sensor. • Allow the machine to cool down if it is still hot due the drying process.
