72 4 BIOS setup PCI/PnP Configuration The PCI/PnP Configuration submenu lets you specify the settings for the PCI devices. Parameter Plug & Play OS Description Option When this parameter is set to Yes, BIOS No setup initializes only PnP boot devices such Yes as SCSI cards. When set to No, the BIOS setup initializes all PnP boot and non-boot devices such as sound cards. Note: Set this parameter to Yes only if the operating system is Windows 95/98 or a later version.

The PCI/PnP Configuration submenu lets you specify the settings for
the PCI devices.
Parameter

Plug & Play OS
When this parameter is set to Yes, BIOS
setup initializes only PnP boot devices such
as SCSI cards.
When set to No, the BIOS setup initializes
all PnP boot and non-boot devices such as
sound cards.
