109 Server management overview The server management tools supported by the Altos G5450 system is listed in the table below. Tool Function PhoenixBIOS Setup Utility Use this tool to configure the different hardware components and system functions (memory, processor, and security settings). Go to the BIOS setup chapter on page 67 for details. ASM (Acer Server Management) This utility allows a system administrator to remotely manage the server in a network environment through a single management station. For detailed instructions on how to install and use this utility, refer to the user documentation accompanying it. Onboard SATA RAID Configuration Utility LSI MegaRAID SAS RAID Configuration Utility Use any of these utilities to configure RAID for the system hard drives. The two LSI utilities are only available when their corresponding SAS controller board option is installed in the server. Proceed to the next section for instructions on how to use these utilities. Note: Support for the LSI SAS Configuration Utility may not be available for all system releases.

ASM (Acer Server
Management)
This utility allows a system administrator to
remotely manage the server in a network
environment through a single management
station. For detailed instructions on how to install
and use this utility, refer to the user
documentation accompanying it.

Configuration Utility
