To open a sidebag lid 1. Insert the key into the sidebag lock, and then turn the key counterclockwise. WARNING Improper loading or overloading can cause loss of control and possibly an accident or personal injury. See pages 1-5 and 6-14 for important loading and tire pressure information. G Always securely close the sidebags before riding. G Distribute weight evenly on each side of the motorcycle. G Do not exceed the load limit of 5 kg (11 lb) for each sidebag. G Do not exceed the maximum load of 186 kg (410 lb) for the vehicle. G Do not exceed 120 km/h (80 mi/h) when riding with luggage in the sidebags, otherwise handling could be affected. Improper loading, poor tire or overall motorcycle conditions, poor road surfaces or adverse weather conditions may make it necessary to further reduce the riding speed. 3 To close a sidebag lid 1. Fold the sidebag lid down so that the latch snaps into place. 2. Turn the key clockwise, and then remove it. To remove a sidebag 1. Open the sidebag lid. 2. Turn the fasteners counterclockwise, and then remove the sidebag by pulling it upward. NOTE: The fasteners will come loose after the sidebags are removed. Be sure not to lose the fasteners. 1. Key 2. Unlock. 2. Push the key in, and then fold the sidebag lid up. 3-17

Push the key in, and then fold the
sidebag lid up.

Open the sidebag lid.

wise, and then remove the side-
bag by pulling it upward.
