HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD When cleaning the spark arrester: Always let the exhaust system cool prior to touching exhaust components. Do not start the engine when cleaning the exhaust system. 1. Tailpipe 2. Spark arrester 4. Insert the tailpipe into the muffler and align the bolt holes. 5. Install the tailpipe by installing the bolts, and then tighten the bolts to the specified torque. Tightening torque: Tailpipe bolt: 9.5 N·m (0.95 m·kgf, 6.9 ft·lbf) 8-30
