EVU00970 Fuse replacement The main fuse and the fuse box are located under the hood. (See pages 8-6-8-7 for hood opening and closing procedures.) If a fuse is blown, turn off the main switch and install a new fuse of the specified amperage. If a fuse is blown, replace it as follows. 1. Remove the battery compartment cover by lifting it up and pulling it out. CAUTION: _ To prevent accidental short-circuiting, turn off the main switch when checking or replacing a fuse. _ 3. Fuse replacement
The main fuse and the fuse box are located
under the hood. (See pages 8-6–8-7 for hood
opening and closing procedures.)
If a fuse is blown, turn off the main switch and
install a new fuse of the specified amperage.
If a fuse is blown, replace it as follows.

Remove the battery compartment cover
by lifting it up and pulling it out.

Turn the key to “OFF” and turn off the
electrical circuit in question.
CAUTION:

To prevent accidental short-circuiting,
turn off the main switch when checking or
replacing a fuse.

3.
Remove the blown fuse, and then install
a new fuse of the specified amperage.
