Turn the adjuster in or out until the proper throttle lever free play is achieved. Throttle lever free play a: 1.0-2.0 mm (0.04-0.08 in) 1 Locknut 2 Adjuster 3. Tighten the locknut. ESU00149 Oil pump cable adjustment CAUTION: @ Be sure to adjust the throttle cable first. @ 1. Loosen the locknut. 2. Pull the oil pump outer cable and adjust the free play between the adjuster and outer cable by turning the adjuster in or out.
