Operation of an overloaded scooter could cause tire damage, an accident, or even injury. 2. Improper tire pressure greatly affects tire life and handling. Check the pressure of both tires prior to each trip and adjust properly if necessary. If tire pressure is too high, shocks from the road will not be damped and will be carried to the frame and handlebars, thus adversely affecting riding comfort. In addition, scooter stability will be poor when making a turn. If tire pressure is too low, tires will be deformed greatly, thus shortening tire life. When braking, the tires could slip over the wheel rims and the tubes could be damaged. Also, when turning a corner or going around a curve, the scooter could easily turn over. @ EAH90301 EAE96501 Throttle cable adjustment EUU06400 Tires Check both front and rear tire pressures. Also check for nails, fractions of glass, or stones embedded in the tire treads. Check the run-out of each tire rim, and recondition, as ne-cessary. Ask a Yamaha dealer, if required.
