2. Filter element for V-belt compartment a. Remove the front cover by removing the screws and bolts. b. Remove the filter element cover. c. Pull out the filter element. q w q 1. Element cover 1. Front cover 2. Screw e 3. Element d. Tap the element lightly to remove most of the dust and dirt. Blow out the remaining dirt with compressed air. If the element is damaged, replace it. e. Reassemble by reversing the removal procedure. Be sure the element is seated completely against the case. f. The filter element should be cleaned at the specified intervals. 8-14

Filter element for V-belt compartment
a. Remove the front cover by removing the

b. Remove the filter element cover.
c. Pull out the filter element.
d. Tap the element lightly to remove most of
the dust and dirt. Blow out the remaining
dirt with compressed air. If the element is
damaged, replace it.
e. Reassemble by reversing the removal
procedure. Be sure the element is seated
completely against the case.
f. The filter element should be cleaned at
the specified intervals.
