Oil strainer cC When removing the drain plug, the compression spring, oil strainer and O-ring will fall out. Take care not to lose these parts. When removing the drain plug, the compres-
sion spring, oil strainer and O-ring will fall
out. Take care not to lose these parts.
e. Clean the oil strainer with solvent.
f. Inspect the O-ring and replace if dam-
aged.
g. Reinstall the O-ring, oil strainer, com-
pression spring and drain plug. Tighten
the drain plug to specification.

Before reinstalling the drain plug, be sure to
install the O-ring, compression spring and
oil strainer.
