STANDARD factory setting is as follows: compression: 8 clicks (999), 10 clicks (999S); rebound: 8 clicks (999), 12 clicks (999S). (999S) Max. setting for softest damping adjustment is 24 clicks for rebound and 28 clicks for compression. E To change the preload of the spring inside each fork leg, turn the hex. adjusting nut (2) with a 22-mm hexagon wrench. Preload setting range (A, fig. 35) is from 25 to 10 mm.
