Insert the indicator fully, then remove it again. • If the oil level is between the two holes or between the MIN and MAX marks (depending on application), the oil level is acceptable. DO NOT ADD OIL. • If the oil level is at or below the lower hole or the MIN mark, add enough oil to raise the level within the two holes or within the MIN-MAX range (depending on application). • 3.0L Vulcan engine • Oil levels above the upper hole or above the MAX mark, may cause engine damage.
