How to eject the tape To stop the tape and eject the cassette, press the "EJ" button. The radio will resume playing if the power is on. The tape cartridge can be ejected with radio power (and/or ignition) on or off. How to store the tape Press the "AM" or "FM" button (or "CD", if equipped) to stop the tape player and resume radio play (or CD-DJ). Using the Dolby B noise reduction feature NOTE: Noise reduction system manufactured under license from Dolby Labs Licensing Corporation. "Dolby" and double-D symbol are trademarks of Dolby Laboratories Licensing Corporation. Push the k button to activate Dolby B Noise Reduction. Push again to deactivate. Tape error messages Your cassette tape player is equipped to diagnose certain problems you may experience. Error codes are as follows: TD E1 - Possible problem tape cartridge. The cassette player will automatically eject the tape. Insert the tape again. If the same error code appears in the display, try a different tape. If the problem persists, refer the problem to qualified personnel for service. TD E2 - Radio cannot eject tape. If tape is not ejected when the "EJ" button is pressed, refer the problem to qualified personnel for service. 180
