About MIDI MIDI Note Number Auto Selection ON/OFF Ordinarily, you should keep this function set to on for the instrument (default setting is on). When MIDI Number Auto Selection is on and you strike the pad, the MIDI note number corresponding to the pad (voice) you strike is sent via the MIDI OUT terminal. On the other hand, when MIDI Number Auto Selection is off and you strike the pad, the MIDI note number that you've specifically assigned to the pad is sent via the MIDI OUT terminal. Ant 1 Enter the MIDI Number Auto Selection setting function. After pressing the [FUNCTION] button, press the [DRUM 1] or [DRUM 2] button a number of times until the "Ant" item appears. After a while, the current setting (on/off) appears next to "Ant". 2 Set MIDI Number Auto Select on/off as desired. Turn the DIAL clockwise to set to ON, and turn it counter-clockwise to set it to OFF. Ordinarily, you should keep this function set to on for the instrument (default setting is on).
When MIDI Number Auto Selection is on and you strike the pad, the MIDI note number correspond-
ing to the pad (voice) you strike is sent via the MIDI OUT terminal.
On the other hand, when MIDI Number Auto Selection is off and you strike the pad, the MIDI note
number that you’ve specifically assigned to the pad is sent via the MIDI OUT terminal.
