CONNECTIONS Connecting audio components I Connecting a CD player Connect the coaxial digital output jack on your CD player to the DIGITAL INPUT CD jack. y • The AUDIO jacks are available for a CD player which does not have coaxial digital output jack. I Connecting a CD recorder or MD recorder RX-V530 Connect the optical digital signal input jack on your CD recorder or MD recorder to the DIGITAL OUTPUT MD/CD-R jack for digital recording. Connect the optical digital output jack on your CD recorder or MD recorder to the DIGITAL INPUT MD/CD-R jack to play a source from your recording component. RX-V430 Connect the input jacks on your CD recorder or MD recorder to the MD/CD-R OUT (REC) jacks for analog recording. Connect the output jacks on your CD recorder or MD recorder to the MD/CD-R IN (PLAY) jacks to play a source from your recording component. y RX-V530 • The AUDIO jacks are available for an CD recorder or MD recorder which does not have optical digital input or output jack. Notes • Once you have connected a recording component to this unit, keep its power turned on while using this unit. If the power is off, this unit may distort the sound from other components. • RX-V530 DIGITAL OUTPUT jack and analog OUT (REC) jacks are independent.
