CLEANING YOUR MEAT GRINDER 1. Set the "ON/OFF" switch to "OFF" and unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet. 2. Make sure the motor has stopped completely. Disassemble by following the assembly steps in reverse order. Note: To easily remove the cutting plate, place a knife or screwdriver between the cutting plate and head. 3. Remove all food from the appliance. 4. Carefully wash all parts, except the motor base in warm, soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly. Do not wash any parts in the dishwasher. 5. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth or sponge. To remove stubborn spots, use a mild, non-abrasive cleanser. Note: • Do not use any bleaching solution containing chlorine as it will discolor the aluminum surfaces. • Apply a small amount of vegetable oil to the feed screw, cutting blade, and head after washing and drying.
