Interference from a microwave oven or other source can disrupt Wi-Fi or Bluetooth operation. Turn off all wireless functionalities when near a person who might have a cardiac pacemaker implant or other medical electric device. Radio waves might affect pacemaker or medical device operation, possibly resulting in serious injury. Follow the instruction for your medical device when using any wireless functionality. Always turn off wireless functionality if the computer is near automatic control equipment or appliances such as automatic doors or fire detectors. If this occurs, the new network (*) has to be configured for all computers connected to the same network in order to re-enable network connections. * Make sure to use new network name. Security TOSHIBA strongly recommends that you enable encryption functionality, otherwise your computer is open to illegal access by an outsider using a wireless connection. If this occurs, the outsider might illegally access your system, eavesdrop, or cause the loss or destruction of stored data. TOSHIBA is not liable for the loss of data due to eavesdropping or illegal access through the wireless LAN and the damage thereof.
