87 Setting up your TV UUsisninggHHDDMMIITTMMCCEECC These functions depend on the devices that are connected.The HDMITM CEC Player Control item will be grayed out in the following conditions: v A non-HDMITM input is currently selected. v The Enable HDMI CEC item is set to Off. v The connected CEC device is not a playback or recording device. HDMITM CEC input source selection If a HDMITM CEC device with HDMITM switching capability (e.g. Audio Receiver) is connected to the HDMITM input, you can select another HDMITM CEC device that is connected to the master HDMITM device using the TV's INPUT button, see "Selecting the video input source" on page 47. VOLUME and MUTE controls of Audio Receiver With your TV's remote control, you can adjust or mute the sound volume of the Audio Receiver. v VOL (+ -) buttons adjust the volume level. v MUTE button turns off the sound. To use this function: v Set Speaker Preference to Receiver in the HDMI CEC Setup menu. v Confirm that a connected HDMITM CEC device (such as DVD player, etc.) is selected for the Audio Receiver input source. These functions depend on the device connected. Other HDMITM CEC functions When the Enable HDMI CEC Control and each item in the HDMI CEC Control Setup menu are set to On, the following functions will be enabled. Item: Description: TV Auto Power If a HDMITM CEC device is turned on, the TV turns on automatically. Auto Standby If the TV is turned off, the TV will send a message to turn off all of the HDMITM CEC devices connected to the TV.

Setting up your TV
These functions depend on the devices that are connected.The
