If idling behavior is erratic or acceleration is poor N Turn the low speed screw (L) 1/8 of a turn (45°) counterclockwise. It is usually necessary to change the setting of the idle speed screw (LA) after every correction to the low speed screw (L) - see "Adjusting the Carburetor". N If your saw is very cold (frost or ice on machine), start the engine and keep it at a high idle speed (with chain brake disengaged) until it reaches normal operating temperature. Cover plate Fitting the cover plate 2 2 1 N Place the cover plate (1) in position, engage the two tabs (arrows), and secure it with the screws (2). Electric Handle Heating Switching on the handle heating (depending on model) N Move the switch to F - move switch back to 0 to switch off. There is no risk of overheating during long periods of operation. The heating system is maintenance-free. The cover plate (special accessory) helps prevent snow being sucked into the machine. If idling behavior is erratic or

a turn (45°) counterclockwise.
