To change your message notification settings 1 Find and tap Settings > Apps & notifications > App info. 2 Tap Messaging > App notifications > Messages > Sound. 3 Select an option or tap and select a music file that is saved on your device. 4 To confirm, tap DONE. You can change the Importance level for receiving message notifications. If the Importance level is set to Low or Medium, there is no notification sound. To change the Importance level, tap Importance and select an option. To enable or disable delivery reports for outgoing messages 1 Find and tap . 2 Tap , then tap Settings. 3 Tap the Delivery report slider to enable or disable the function. After delivery reports are turned on, a check mark is displayed for messages that have been successfully delivered.
