Resetting the player does not delete the music songs you have transferred to the player. to   button Shuttle switch Index to  DISPLAY/HOME button Note  This function is only available in the stop mode.  Press and hold the DISPLAY/HOME button in the stop mode until the HOME screen appears.  Rotate the shuttle switch to select (Settings) and press the  button to confirm.  Rotate the shuttle switch to select "Advanced Settings>" and press the  button to confirm.  Rotate the shuttle switch to select "Initialize>" and press the  button to confirm.  Rotate the shuttle switch to select "Reset All Settings>" and press the  button to confirm.  Rotate the shuttle switch to select "OK" and press the  button to confirm. When resetting is completed, "COMPLETE" appears. To cancel restoration of factory settings Select "Cancel" in step  and press the  button. To return to the previous menu Press the DISPLAY/HOME button.

Resetting to Factory Settings
(Reset All Settings)
You can reset the player to the default settings. Resetting the player does not
delete the music songs you have transferred to the player.

Rotate the shuttle switch to select

When resetting is completed, “COMPLETE” appears.
