iPod wireless headphone PIH20 / PIH30R INSTRUCTIONS The wireless Headphone PIH20/PIH30R for iPod use advanced 915MHz ultra high frequency technology for crystal clear audio. This wireless headphone system comprises of a wireless headphone and an iPod dock transmitter which also functions as an 'easy-charge' cradle and docking station for iPods. The PIH20/PIH30R utilizes RF wireless audio transmission, offering an effective range of 150 feet (line of sight), and can serve up to several headphones. Auxiliary connection lets you listen to non-docking iPod models, MP3 /CD/DVD/TV or any audio systems. PIH30R offers a remote control, so you can adjust the volume, play, pause, mute or select tracks without touching your iPod or iPhone. System components and connections - 1 headphone - 1 iPod transmitter - 1 remote control (included with PIH30R) - 1 power supply - 1 3.5mm stereo jack detachable audio cable - 1 instruction manual - 1 Warranty letter Where to place the transmitter Do not place the transmitter close to metal objects such as shelf bars, reinforced concrete walls, etc. If there is no audio signal for about 4 minutes, the transmitter automatically switches off. The transmitter is now in stand-by mode, its power consumption is very low so that it can remain connected to the mains. Pressing the headphone receiver on/off The TUNE/ON/OFF button is on the right earpiece. Make sure to turn off the headphones after each use. Adjusting the volume Set the volume of your sound source to a medium value. With some devices, the volume for the headphone output can be regulated separately. Use the VOLUME control on the right earpiece to adjust the headphones volume. Changing the receiver channel Press the ON/OFF button on the right earpiece until you can hear the audio signal loud and clear. Your headphones start on 1CH. Tap the power button to set to 2CH. Tap again for 3CH. Tapping again will reset to 1CH, and so on. Changing the transmission channel To avoid interference caused by the simultaneous operation of several transmitters, select a different channel on each transmitter. Depending on the system variant, two or three switchable transmission channels are available.
