BASIC OPERATION/SHOOTING SHOOTING UNDER WATER This camera can be used underwater up to a depth of 3 m for up to 60 minutes continuously. When shooting underwater, set the scene mode setting to underwater . This setting ensures the best colours and audio recording for underwater photography (pages 49 and 82). Before using your camera underwater, be sure to read the sections "IMPORTANT: ABOUT THE WATERPROOF PERFORMANCE OF THE CAMERA" (page 8) and "MAINTENANCE AND WATERPROOF PERFORMANCE" (pages 9 to 16) in this manual, and to follow the instructions carefully. Incorrect use may cause water to leak into the camera and damage it.
