Mounting on and removing from the digital camera • Turn off the digital camera and confirm that the digital camera is not charging. (Mounting the unit onto, or removing it from, the camera while the power is on may cause trouble and is not recommended.) 1 1 Remove the cover for the battery grip connector on the digital camera. 2 Remove the terminal cap on the Battery Grip. 3Store the cover for the battery grip connector in the terminal cap. • Store in the same orientation as the mark (A). 4Store the terminal cap in the storage compartment of the Battery Grip. • Return the cover for the battery grip connector and the terminal cap to their original position after use to protect  the terminals. 2 Insert by aligning the attachment screw, electrical contacts, and camera attachment pins. 3 Turn the attachment screw in direction of the arrow to attach securely. Note • Keep the terminal cap out of reach of children to prevent swallowing. 7 (ENG) DVQX1647

Remove the cover for the
battery grip connector on
the digital camera.

Remove the terminal cap on
the Battery Grip.

Store the cover for the
battery grip connector in the
terminal cap.
• Store in the same orientation as the
mark (

).

Store the terminal cap in the
storage compartment of the
Battery Grip.
• Return the cover for the battery grip
connector and the terminal cap to their
original position after use to protect
the terminals.

Insert by aligning the
