Protecting pictures You are recommended to protect important pictures to avoid accidentally erasing them. Protected pictures cannot be erased by the single-frame/all-frame erase function, but they are all erased by formatting. Select the picture you want to protect and display the top menu. Copying pictures in the internal memory to the card (BACKUP) Pictures recorded to the internal memory can be copied to a card (backup). A backup does not erase the pictures in the internal memory.
