Managed Switches VRRP on a Master Router This example shows how to configure the managed switch to support VRRP. Router 1 is the default master router for the virtual route, and Router 2 is the backup router. CLI: Configure VRRP on a Master Router 1. Enable routing for the switch. Configure the IP addresses and subnet masks for the port that will participate in the protocol.
