Operation of the burners Turning on To ignite a burner, push the appropri‐ ate control knob and turn it counter‐ clockwise to the "High" position. The ignitor "clicks" and ignites the gas. If the burner fails to light, turn the control knob to the "Off" position. Air the room or wait at least 1 minute be‐ fore trying again. If the second attempt also fails to light the burner, turn the control knob to the "Off" position and refer to the "Frequently asked questions" sec‐ tion. Turning on during a power outage In case of a power failure, the flame can be ignited manually. Press in the burner knob and turn it counterclockwise to "High." Light the emerging gas/air mixture with a match. Control Knob Off Gas supply is off: Burner off High Strongest flame setting: Maximum power of upper and lower flame rings Simmer Weakest flame setting: Upper flame ring off Minimum power of lower flame ring 24
