BROILING CHART For best results, follow the chart below. For diagram, see the "Positioning Racks and Bakeware" section. A temperature setting of 550°F (288°C) is recommended for most foods. Fish fillets and bone-in chicken pieces are best using 450°F (232°C) Times are guidelines only and may need to be adjusted for individual foods and tastes. Preheat is not needed for broiling. Food should not be held for more than 1 hour; however, breads and casseroles may become too dry during the Keep Warm function. For best results, cover food. The Keep Warm™ option allows hot cooked food to stay at serving temperature. 1. Press KEEP WARM for the desired oven. "KEEP WARM" and "Set Temp or Press START" will scroll in the text area, and 170°F (78°C) will be displayed. 2. Use the number keypad to enter the desired temperature. The temperature can be set from 145°F (63°C) to 200°F (94°C). NOTE: The temperature may be changed at any time by using the number keypad to enter the desired temperature and then pressing START. 3. Press START. "KEEP WARM" will appear in the selected oven text area, and the set temperature will be displayed. 4. "KEEP WARM" and the temperature will be displayed while the Keep Warm™ option is active or CANCEL is pressed for the selected oven. 5. Place food in the oven and close the door. 6. Press CANCEL for the selected oven when finished. 7. Remove food from the oven. To Cancel Keep Warm™ option: Press CANCEL for the oven that is in use. Remove food from oven. 11

For beef to have a well seared exterior and rare interior, use
rack 6. Expect a moderate degree of smoke when broiling.
Keep Warm™ Option
IMPORTANT:
Food must be at serving temperature before it is
placed in the oven. Food should not be held for more than 1 hour;
however, breads and casseroles may become too dry during the
Keep Warm function. For best results, cover food.
The Keep Warm™ option allows hot cooked food to stay at
serving temperature.
1.
Press KEEP WARM for the desired oven.
“KEEP WARM” and “Set Temp or Press START” will scroll in
the text area, and 170°F (78°C) will be displayed.
2.
Use the number keypad to enter the desired temperature.
The temperature can be set from 145°F (63°C) to 200°F
(94°C).
NOTE:
The temperature may be changed at any time by
using the number keypad to enter the desired temperature
and then pressing START.
3.
Press START.
“KEEP WARM” will appear in the selected oven text area, and
the set temperature will be displayed.
4.
“KEEP WARM” and the temperature will be displayed while
the Keep Warm™ option is active or CANCEL is pressed for
the selected oven.
5.
Place food in the oven and close the door.
6.
Press CANCEL for the selected oven when finished.
7.
Remove food from the oven.
To Cancel Keep Warm™ option:
Press CANCEL for the oven that is in use. Remove food from
oven.
