SERVICE BULLETIN Date: Update Number: Subject: Products Affected: May 23, 2017 S2017-07 Replacement Parts for Automatic Garage Door Lock Capable Garage Door Openers LiftMaster® Models 8550W, 8587W, and 8360W LiftMaster® is proud to introduce the new Auto Lock Capable garage door opener Models 8550W, 8587W, and 8360W. The new models are compatible with the Automatic Garage Door Lock Model 841LM, which includes 33 feet of installation wire. Identifying features of the new 8550W, 8587W, and 8360W models: • Product packaging displays the "Auto Lock Capable" header with the Shield icon. • Product's opener chassis cover displays the Shield icon. • Product manual and product label are marked with the letter "L" (e.g., 8550WL). • Product's side or back have two (2) lock terminals next to program arrows. New service kits are available for the Auto Lock Capable garage door opener models, and are not interchangeable with the non-lock models. We will continue to support and supply logic boards for all model versions.
