Troubleshooting Apparent faults or malfunctions may be easily resolved. Before calling for service, check the table below for symptoms that match yours. Main unit Symptoms I insert a CD but it won't play. There is no sound. Playback skips. I can't play some audio files. There is a delay until playback starts. The TAG information is not displayed correctly. Possible Cause/Solution z Load the disc correctly with the label side facing upward. z Clean the disc. (See "Care and Storage".) z Allow any condensation to evaporate. (See "Be careful against condensation".) z Press the [E] key. z Clean the disc. (See "Care and Storage".) z Clean the disc. (See "Care and Storage".) z The system will not play audio files that are corrupted. z Check that the system can play the audio file. z There may be a delay prior to playback if there are large numbers of folders. z Refer to "Supported Audio Files" to check which TAG information can be displayed on this system.
