Using the DAB + radio

Setting the alarm clock The CR-ST50DAB can be set to 2 different alarm times. Furthermore, the alarm clocks can be programmed for the following time blocks: "Daily" / "Once" / "Weekend" / "Weekdays". To set the alarm time, please proceed as follows: 1. Turn on the radio and confirm with the button " to select the FM source. 2. Press the , button, select the „System" menu using and then press the knob. 3. Select the "Alarm" menu with and then confirm. 4. "Alarm 1 Setup" is displayed. You can now set alarm time 1 or change to alarm time 2 with ("Alarm 2 Setup"). 5. After confirming, please perform the following steps: • Setting of hours and minutes (select numbers with , continue by confirming. • Setting the alarm time (15, 30, 45, 60, 90 minutes), continue by confirming. • Select source "Buzzer", "DAB" or "FM" with , then confirm. • "Last listened" or select other storage space and confirm. This item appears only when DAB or FM is selected as the source. • Select "Daily" / "Once" / "Weekends" / "Weekdays" and confirm. • Select the switch-on volume and confirm. • Select alarm clock "On" or "Off" and confirm. The alarm time is now saved and an alarm symbol appears in the upper left corner of the display. For the setting of the 2nd alarm time proceed analogously. To delete a set alarm, select "Alarm off" in the last step. The alarm will turn on at the specified time for the set duration. If you would like to end the alarm clock, please press the "Standby" button. Using the DAB + radio Press the button " on the radio until "DAB" appears in the display. Setting the DAB + stations During start-up of the device, a station search has already been carried out. The stations found are stored alphabetically in the station list. Restart automatic station search • Press the button to enter the DAB menu. The display shows "Full scan". Press to start. • During the search, the display will show the number of stations found so far. • If no stations are found during the search, "No DAB station" will be displayed for approx. 2 seconds and then change to "Full scan". Please check the correct orientation of the antenna or try to find another location for the device for better reception. 10

Setting the DAB + stations

Restart automatic station search

The display shows “

<TUNE/AUTO/ENTER/

• During the search, the display will show the number of stations found so far.
• If no stations are found during the search,
“No DAB station”
will be displayed for approx. 2
seconds and then change to
“Full scan”
.
Please check the correct orientation of the antenna or try to find another location for the device for
better reception.
