SECTION 11-WHEELS Replacing Non-Projection Handrims - Composite Rear Wheels NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 11.11. 1. Remove the rear wheel from the wheelchair. Refer to Removing/Installing Rear Wheels on page 68. 2. Remove the button screws and washers that secure the handrim to the rear wheel. 3. Remove the existing handrim from the rear wheel. 4. Install the new handrim by reversing the above procedures. ƽ WARNING Make sure detent pin and locking pins of the quick/quad-release axles are fully released before operating wheelchair. Mounting Screws and Washers 5. Reinstall rear wheel to the wheelchair. Refer to Removing/Installing Rear Wheels on page 68. 6. Repeat the procedure for the opposite rear wheel if necessary. Replacing Non-Projection Handrims - Composite Rear

NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 11.11.
1.
Remove the rear wheel from the wheelchair. Refer to Removing/Installing Rear
Wheels
on page 68.
2.
Remove the button screws and washers that secure the handrim to the rear wheel.
3.
Remove the existing handrim from the rear wheel.
4.
Install the new handrim by reversing the above procedures.

WARNING
Make sure detent pin and locking pins of
the quick/quad-release axles are fully
released before operating wheelchair.
5.
Reinstall rear wheel to the wheelchair.
Refer to Removing/Installing Rear
Wheels
on page 68.
6.
Repeat the procedure for the opposite
rear wheel if necessary.
