Invacare® Homecare Beds 1. Stand or prop each bed end in an upright position on its legs. 2. Using a mild soap/detergent and soft bristle brush or sponge, scrub all exterior surfaces. 3. Using a hose and nozzle attachment, rinse bed ends thoroughly with plain cold or warm water. Do not exceed a water temperature of 110° F. Use household tap pressure. DO NOT use pressure washers or steam cleaners. DO NOT use solvents, bleach, alcohol, petroleum products, caustic agents or highly alkaline or acidic agents to clean the bed. 4. Tip bed end from side to side to allow any collected or trapped water to drain. 5. Thoroughly towel dry bed end and all components. 6. Repeat drying process until all components are dry. Ensure that the bed end is completely dry before storing. Cleaning the Head and Foot Sections WARNING! Risk of Injury or Damage The electric motors, control box and pendant are NOT protected against the entrance of dust and liquids. - DO NOT spray liquids into any electrical components. - DO NOT wash head or foot section. - DO NOT allow electrical components to get wet. 1. thoroughly with plain cold or warm water.
