CONSIDERACIONES:

• Independientemente de si el transceptor

1. Operating environment

Move away from buildings, and use the transceiver

in an area with an open sky.

• Extended your arm horizontally, and raise your thumb.

• Turn your body around 360 degrees with your arms

extended.

Make sure that there are no obstacles such

as buildings or trees at higher than about 8 degrees.

2. Checking the signal strength

Confirm the antenna icon is displayed, and the

connection with a satellite is established.

3. Receiving

Hold the transceiver with its antenna

straight up and pointing to the sky.

Do not push [PTT] while receiving signal.

4. Transmitting

Hold down [PTT] until “TALKING” is

displayed, and then speak at your

normal voice level.

ATTENTIONS:

• Regardless of in the transceiver is receiving,

transmitting, or in the standby mode, keep the

antenna straight up and it pointing to the sky.

• If the antenna is pointing sideways, or you

hold the transceiver below your shoulders, the

radio signal performance will deteriorate, and it

unstable to connect.

• Keep the transceiver at a minimum of 1.5 m

(4.9 feet) away from other transceivers to avoid

interference.

1. Betriebsumgebung
