4. Plug the AC power cord into the back of the charger. 5. Plug the other end of the AC power cord into a 120-volt grounded household power outlet. 6. Follow the specific instructions for your charger (see below). 7. When the batteries are charged, and/or you are ready to use the chair: A. If your charger is equipped with an on/off button, turn OFF the power switch on your charger. B. Unplug the charger from the household power outlet. C. Unplug the charger from the joystick controller. If you have a: Flying Power FY-4101 Charger 1. Switch the power on. A light will illuminate on the output side of the charger, indicating power is available. If the light does not go on, please check to make sure the household power is working. 2. If the light is red, the batteries are charging. 3. When the light is green, the batteries are charged. 4. If the batteries do not appear to be fully charged and the green light is on, check to make sure the charger has been properly plugged into the controller charging port and the batteries are connected. Two red lights will illuminate on the output side of the charger indicating the power is on, the charger is in the charge mode and the cable is fully plugged into the controller. When the batteries are charged, and/or you are ready to use the chair:

If you have a:
Flying Power FY-4101 Charger

Switch the power on.
A light will illuminate on the output side of the charger,
indicating power is available.
If the light does not go on, please check to
make sure the household power is working.

If the light is red, the batteries are charging.
3.
When the light is green, the batteries are charged.
4.
If the batteries do not appear to be fully charged and the green light is on,
check to make sure the charger has been properly plugged into the controller
charging port and the batteries are connected.

Switch the power on.

charger indicating the power is on, the charger is in the charge mode and the
cable is fully plugged into the controller.
If only one red light is on, check to
make sure the charger is plugged fully into the controller.

When one red and one green light is on AND the cord is fully plugged into the
controller, the batteries are charged.
