This will seat the swing arm to the latching mechanism. Be careful to keep clear of the locking mechanism and swing away arms when the arms are moving (see Figure 5C). When the arm is closed and the locking pin is fully seated, install the safety pin (see Figure 5b). Verify the red knob is retracted into the seated position.
