To install the installation files, do one of the following: • To use the rpm file, enter the command rpm -ihv hppp-linux-x.xx.xxx-1.ixxx.rpm. • To use the direct installation file to install HPPP: a. Change the file mode to executable. b. Install HPPP. c. Enter the command chmod 755 hppp-linux-x_xx_xxx-ixxx ./hppp-linux-x_xx_xxx-ixxx. Use the direct installation file to install HPPP. a. Change the file mode to executable. b. Install HPPP. c. Enter the command chmod 755 hppp-linux-x_xx_xxx-ixxx ./hppp-linux-x_xx_xxx-ixxx. 2. Use the rpm file to install Debian. Convert the rpm file extension to a deb file extension, and then enter the command dpkg -i hppp-linux-x.xx.xxx-1.ixxx.deb.
