CAUTION: Do not connect any device other than the EPSON display module connector to the DM connector. Also, do not connect other lines, such as a telephone line, to the DM connector; otherwise the printer and other lines may be damaged. Be sure to mount the ferrite core on the display module cable to satisfy the EMI standard. Be sure to mount the ferrite core on the display module cable to satisfy
the EMI standard.
To mount the ferrite core, put the display module cable into the ferrite core, as
shown in the illustration below.
