Chapter 1 Product Overview Paper Specifications The following is the type and the size of paper specified for this printer. When using paper other than specified paper, paper feed accuracy, barcode detection accuracy, printing quality may be degraded or frequent paper jam may occur. As for black mark die-cut label (synthetic media label), use paper whose outer edges are removed only on the right and left. Do not use the label paper with synthetic media labels on the paper backing (liner). Depending on the temperature and humidity, the synthetic media labels and paper backing have different ratios of expansion and contraction, and this causes the paper to curl. If the paper curls, the paper may be rubbed by the print head and become contaminated, or the paper may jam.
