Section 3 - Configuration Web-based Configuration Utility The DIR-508L has an auto-detection feature that will determine whether an Ethernet cable or 3G/4G USB adapter is currently connected to your device. If your DIR-508L needs additional configuration, you can click the Internet icon on the Home page to start the wizard. You may then proceed to configure your Internet connection for Broadband Ethernet, 3G/4G USB adapter, or Hotspot. 1. To access the configuration utility of the DIR-508L, open a web browser and enter http://dlinkrouter.local./ or http://192.168.0.1 in the address bar. 2. If you did not create a Password for the Admin account, leave it blank by default. Click Log In. 3. The router's Home page will open. From this screen you can start a wizard or check on the Current Status of the DIR-508L. Use the bar at the top of the page for quick access to Settings and Management functions.
