Accessories Range of lenses Canon EF and EF-S lenses compliment perfectly the state-of-the-art sensor in digital cameras like the EOS 60D. Super Spectra coatings virtually eliminate internal reflections that can cause ghosting and flare, while the use of materials like fluorite and Canon's patented Ultra Low Dispersion glass tackle chromatic aberrations. The autofocus system in many EF and EF-S lenses is driven by an ultrasonic motor - technology that moves the lens to the point of focus extremely quickly and in near silence. Canon's Image Stabilization (IS) technology - found in many telephoto and standard zoom lenses - compensates for vibrations and unwanted camera shake by the equivalent of up to five stops, giving photographers a genuine advantage in low-light conditions. Canon Speedlite flash photography Canon's E-TTL II flash technology takes the guesswork out of flash photography, leaving you to concentrate on taking great pictures. External flash units, such as the Speedlite 580EX II, 430EX II and 270EX, are as powerful as they are versatile. Use them as the dominant light source in dark conditions, or as a source of fill-in flash outdoors when strong shadows are present. The EOS 60D's built-in Speedlite transmitter function means that wireless Speedlites can be positioned off-camera and triggered remotely without the need for additional accessories. Battery grip Optional battery grip BG-E9 helps balance the camera when using long lenses and provides a duplicate set of key controls for vertical shooting. Space for an additional Li-ion battery or the option to use widely available AA batteries means you can keep shooting for longer. Printers A Canon PIXMA inkjet printer is the perfect partner to the EOS 60D. With some models offering borderless printing up to A3+ in size, the uses for this technology are limited only by your imagination. Fine-art prints, portfolio material, or just photography to share with friends and family can all be produced quickly and quietly, straight from the desktop. Complimenting the PIXMA range are Canon's imagePROGRAF large-format printers, which can produce stunning images up to A1 in size. Additionally, Canon's compact SELPHY printers are the perfect solution for those producing large numbers of small prints in the home. Only Canon can offer this total imaging solution, from capture to output, ensuring that you stay in control of your photography at all times.
