1.3 Central Processing Unit (CPU) The motherboard comes with an AMD Socket AM4 designed for AMD Ryzen™ 5000 Series / 5000 G-Series/ 4000 G-Series/ 3000 Series Desktop Processors. Unplug all power cables before installing the CPU. The AM4 socket has a different pinout design. Ensure that you use a CPU designed for the AM4 socket. The CPU fits in only one correct orientation. DO NOT force the CPU into the socket to prevent bending the connectors on the socket and damaging the CPU!
