34 - Using the camera and video recorder Setting Description Set if the location (from GPS) is stored in the image information. Save Certain apps can use this to show where the photo was location taken (for example, on a map). Note: Ensure Location services are also turned on (see Quick Settings icons on page 14). Manual exposure: Tap to toggle on or off (for camera Advanced mode only). This adds an exposure control to Quick Settings. Quick Settings Setting Description Switch camera Toggles between the front and rear cameras. Grid Turns the 3x3 grid on or off. Camera settings have additional options: Timer Add a delay between tapping the shutter button and taking a photo. Manual exposure Adjust to increase or decrease image exposure (only available if Manual exposure is turned on in main camera settings). Taking a photo 1. Ensure the options described above are set to your preferences. 2. Frame your subject and steady your tablet. 3. Zoom in or out as needed. Note When zooming, the image on the screen does not represent the quality of the final image. 4. Tap to take the photo.
