Removing the CPU 1. Remove the air-baffle from the heatsink. 2. Loosen the four corner screws that secure the heatsink to the mainboard and gently remove it. 3. Locate and lift the CPU socket locking lever to release the CPU. 4. Gently pull up on the CPU to remove it. 5. Then press down the locking lever to the end of mainboard. Removing the Expansion Card 1. Loosen the thumbscrews on the expansion card riser bracket. 2. Then gently lift the riser from the chassis. Removing the MainBoard 1. Loosen the nine screw from the mainboard. 2. Then gently lift mainboard from the chassis. Chapter 3 51
